The Counting House, 36 West Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh EH8 9DD, UK
On the 5th December, right in the middle of ‘16 days of activism against gender-based violence’, Save Ewrasac will be holding an event in collaboration with Ragged University.
Ragged University is 'an informal collection of people, efforts and interests brought together to create a free environment to enjoy sharing knowledge in.' It encourages life-long learner, where individuals spread their knowledge of subjects they are passionate about.
A member of our team, Anne, will be delivering a talk on resources for survivors of sexual violence and why services such as EWRASAC are vital and must be kept alive. Also speaking that night, is Julian Pearly with the presentation '…Beyond Words: From music to cinema, an interactive story.'
Bring food, bring friends and enjoy! On the night, Laura will be hosting a clothes swap so get ready to part with your well-earned cash in exchange for some goodies. We will also holding an auction, with prizes kindly donated to us from businesses around Edinburgh. This will all be held tightly together by our righteous compere, Ms Cat Wade.
The event is free and open to all. Combat gender violence by coming along, having fun and helping us raise funds for a vital cause!
